Ice Music Greenland

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Ice Music Festival to Ilulissat, Greenland, celebrating 21 years of icy ethereal sonics. Ilulissat will host outdoor concerts, art installations, and a science camp, all set against the breathtaking views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ilulissat Icefjord on Greenland’s west coast.

From February 26 - 28 2026, a fantastic lineup of musicians and artists will accompany the Ice Music Pioneer, Terje Isungset for a series of ice music concerts.

The lineup includes Greenland’s most popular singer, Miké Thomsen, the renowned Norwegian singer Sissel Vera Pettersen, and returning for her second year, Ilulissat’s own Paninnguaq Jensen.

Ice Music Greenland will take place outside the beautifully designed Icefjord Centre in Ilulissat. For all the details and ticket information, please visit our Program 2026 page.

Located 250km north of the Arctic Circle, Ilulissat Icefjord is home to the majestic Sermeq Kujalleq Glacier and its colossal icebergs. Sermeq Kujalleq is one of the fastest-moving glaciers in the world, significantly contributing to Greenland’s mass loss from its icecap.

Greenland is experiencing climate change at an accelerated pace compared to many other countries. By weaving the magic of Ice Music into the local Avannaata community’s lived experience, the Ice Music Festival aims to make a powerful statement about life in harmony with Earth’s precious resource, water.

Join us and immerse yourself in the fragile Arctic beauty of Ilulissat 🇬🇱
